The world market indices were up this week.  The price of oil continued going down and ended this week at $45.59, down from $48.69 last week.  Read more here:  https://finance.yahoo.com/news/gas-prices-fallen-record-16-133000078.html

On Thursday, the European Central Bank (ECB) announced a massive stimulus package which helped to lift markets worldwide: http://news.yahoo.com/eyes-fed-ecb-other-bank-stimulus-moves-230353232--finance.html

The Euro continued to decline and hit an 11 year low against the U.S. dollar on Friday.

I continue to look for stocks that have good fundamental financial values, but stock prices near 52 week lows and, where possible, 5 year lows.

Option: Sell to Open Covered CALL
Stock Symbol: USO
Sell to Open Date: 1/22/2015
Expiration Date:  4/17/2015
Strike Price: $24
Option Price:  $0.21
USO was PUT to me on Jan. 9 at $20.  It has continued going down after this, but the April CALL allows me to take a little money off the table while I wait for USO to come back.

Option: Sell to Open Covered CALL
Stock Symbol: CLF
Sell to Open Date: 1/22/2015
Expiration Date:  7/17/2015
Strike Price: $15
Option Price:  $0.35
CLF was PUT to me on Jan. 16 at $14.  It has continued going down after this, but the July  CALL allows me to take a little money off the table while I wait for CLF to come back.

Option: Sell to Open Cash Secured PUT
Stock Symbol: UVXY
Sell to Open Date: 1/21/2015
Expiration Date: 1/24/2015
Strike Price: $26
Option Price: $0.25 (at $26/share, this option paid me 1% for a 1 week expiration time.
UVXY opened this week at $29.43 and closed at $25.37, so it got PUT to me.  I will look at selling a 1 week out CALL on Monday to keep taking some money off the table.  And also look at selling some 1 week out $22 PUTs on UVXY which were selling for $0.30 on Friday.

Option: Sell to Open Cash Secured PUT
Stock Symbol: MCD
Sell to Open Date: 1/21/2015
Expiration Date: 1/23/2015
Strike Price: $90
Option Price: $1.00 (at $90/share, this option paid me 1.1% for a 1 week expiration time.
MCD opened this week at $91.64 and closed at $89.56, so it got PUT to me.  MCD reported drops in both revenue and profits on Friday which hurt the stock price.  The market was already expecting these drops, and I was hoping that they were already priced into the MCD stock.  I was wrong.  I will check the CALLs on Monday to see how far out I have to go with Expiration date to make my 1% Option premium return.

Option: Sell to Open Cash Secured PUT
Stock Symbol: RIG
Sell to Open Date: 1/20/2015
Expiration Date: 1/23/2015
Strike Price: $14.50
Option Price: $0.20 (at $14.50/share, this option paid me 1.4% for a 1 week expiration time.
RIG opened this week at $15.88 and closed at $15.67, so it did not get PUT to me.  I will look at selling another PUT on RIG on Monday.

Option: Sell to Open Cash Secured PUT
Stock Symbol: DUST
Sell to Open Date: 1/20/2015
Expiration Date: 1/23/2015
Strike Price: $11
Option Price: $0.60 (at $11/share, this option paid me 5.5% for a 1 week expiration time.
DUST opened this week at $11.97 and closed at $13.29, so it did not get PUT to me.  I will look at selling another PUT on DUST on Monday.
